Now that the Diamondbacks have fired their mascot for drunk driving, what would be the appropriate replacement symbol for the upcoming season?
I think my dad would choose a St. Bernard because of the way the D-Backs enjoy screwin' the pooch at the end of ball games.
I would choose Wilbur the Wildcat since he and Baxter looked like they could be cousins.
Farm team, the Sidewinders, actually have a snake mascot. How bout we get something like that? And I missed the story. Why did we get rid of Baxter? Other than the fact that he looks too much like Wilbur....
