Grandma: What do you think of ASU's basketball team?
Ethan: I think they are over-rated but I like their coach.
Grandma: I hate our coach!
Ethan: Why would you possibly dislike your coach? Before he got to ASU the basketball program was irrelevant and now you are nationally ranked.
Grandma: Well who does he think he is coming to our school and taking the names off of the shirts?
Ethan: ??!?
Grandma: I can't tell who the players are and most women can't either. Who does he think he is?
Ethan: I think he thinks he is a nationally ranked coach that has completely changed the culture of your basketball program. He was paid to change it and that is reflected in the jersey changes. It is about team unity.
Grandma: That is hogwash!
Ethan: Well it seems to work. Over the past 10 years you had names on the jersey's and you missed the post-season tourney. And now that he has removed them you are going dancing!
Grandma: I don't care. He can't just come and change things. He is a little bald man and I think I could take him.
Ethan: Okay Grandma.

I had the identical conversation with her last year. I asked her if she would rather lose with the names on their jerseys or win without the names. She said she had to have the names.
