Gronk-Less, Again

The Cats have their biggest non-conference game of the season on Saturday afternoon against the Iowa Hawkeyes. I have watched Iowa in their two previous games and I am not impressed. The closest comparison to a Pac-10 team is probably ASU. They struggled against Northern Iowa and they beat up Iowa State (after struggling in the first half). There QB is not terribly impressive and I think our defensive front can put a lot of pressure on him. If our secondary capitalizes on pressured throws we can win this game.

The bad news, we will be without Gronkowski yet again this week. As Tyler and Glenn have mentioned, our air attack struggles mightily without our All-Pac 10 target. I don't know if we will need the passing game against Iowa. Grigsby should be able to march up and down the field on the Hawkeyes.

Depending on Turnovers, I say the Cats win 21-17.
