Cats Up, Suns Down

Porter is gone. Stat is being shopped and Shaq may be next. The Suns are imploding but they are not taking all of the basketball excitement out of Arizona. The Cats and the Devils showed that there is still talent in the desert by sweeping the LA schools this weekend.

The Cats are unbelievable right now (no one better shave) as they blow out good teams. Chase Budinger is finally taking the ball to the hole and he looks scary. I have no idea why it took him so long to figure out that he is 6'7'' and can jump over everybody. He has finally become the best player on the Cats basketball team and the rest of the squad is feeding off of the energy.

The Devils just keep winning. They do it with just about the ugliest brand of ball I have ever watched but it is effective. UCLA did a good job of disrupting Harden in the first half of their game last week. There were 3 straight possessions where Harden was forced right and dribbled it off his foot but he eventually dominated with his strength and quick move (I can still stop him).

I could not think of a better time for these two teams to be meeting each other. Hopefully this game will be as good as the last meeting was bad. We deserve it because the Suns are going to be terrible.

Here is my question to all of you: If you were to make a Cats/Devils dream team could they beat the Suns leftovers?

Thoughts?

  1. Hey, who'd USC play on Sunday?
    Go Devils!

  2. I know it's the Clippers, and I didn't see any of the game until the fourth quarter, but damn; statistically the Suns look amazing. 80+ points in the paint?! Redunkilous.
