Incredible Game = BCS Ranking

It began with Hoff Singing the Anthem. Then the Cats D didn't seem like they could figure out if the Cardinal were coming or going. Foles kept us close. We finally got a good call on a replay challenge. Then Grigsby had one of the most amazing runs I have ever seen. I was reading this morning that Dykes wanted to change the call as soon as he sent it in. The UA center told Foles to audible in the huddle. Foles response, "Whatever...Lets let Nic do his thing." Its not exactly John "Button" Salmon but I hope it will become a sentiment that serves the Cats well as they continue to develop a potent offense.

We are now ranked number #22 with the Pac-10 bottom feeders coming to Tucson. In the past this would be a recipe for disaster. We will see how good a coach/motivator Stoops is by his ability to keep the team up for two games in which we should be favored heavily.

What would be ranked if we had started Foles in Iowa City? Or if the replay official did his job in Seattle? Or both?

  1. It's never easy against UCLA but the CATS opened as a 9 point favorite and it quickly went to 8.5. If the CATS cover that number I look for them to be ranked. Being 6-2 going into the Cal game Nov. 14th. would be huge.
